The wrap (while procrastinating)

Giving your Worst to Jesus - JollyBlogger remains one of the must-read bloggers, and as always reminds me of my absolute need for Jesus.

All the resources you need on the current Tomb of Jesus controversy: here and here.

New fundamentalisms? - Very good Guardian feature; something to chew over. Also, Rory Shiner's reflections on what exactly is a fundamentalist and our natural reactions to the word is worth reading here and especially here. I like what he says about it being a "failure of fellowship".

Interview with Grame Goldsworthy - One of the blessings of being in UK churches over the past few years is their constant banging about "biblical theology" (No, it doesn't mean what you think it means! Admittedly a better term could be found...) and Goldsworthy is a primary influence.

Anna Nicole Smith

I guess when young, famous people die unexpectedly I always feel surprised. And sad. Because for most of them, in spite of their fame, they came across as lonely, as spiritually hungry (I see that one of today's tabloid headlines is Robbie Williams checking himself into rehab as he struggles with his recent lack of success and increasing isolation), as being unable to find significance.

Don't we all desperately need the gift of Jesus?

Back home in Malaysia...

for a week, from next Friday. It'd be great to be back, even if only for a little while. 17 months is a long time to be gone.

Today in London: Snow, snow and more snow!
