Anna Nicole Smith

I guess when young, famous people die unexpectedly I always feel surprised. And sad. Because for most of them, in spite of their fame, they came across as lonely, as spiritually hungry (I see that one of today's tabloid headlines is Robbie Williams checking himself into rehab as he struggles with his recent lack of success and increasing isolation), as being unable to find significance.

Don't we all desperately need the gift of Jesus?

The Guardian article that made me briefly reflect on this

Go and sin some more: an extended gospel meditation on Anna Nicole Smith (HT:Justin Taylor)
